Does Scalp Med Work?
DO NOT Buy Scalp Med Until You Read My Review!
June 10, 2009
Dear Friend,
I started losing my hair when I was pretty young, and I definitely got a little worried when people began to notice and mention it to me. LOSING YOUR HAIR IS NOT FUN! It's embarrassing and annoying to say the least. I went through the early stages of hair loss for about 7 years before I found something that I feel has really helped my with my hair loss.
I don't think anyone should have to go through the stress of picking the scams out of the pile of legitimate hair-loss treatments, so I wanted to pass on what I know about products like Scalp Med to anyone who is curious.
As you can probably see from my picture at the top, my hair loss is not nearly as noticable as it was before. It's mostly noticable in the back still and from above, but it's well hidden here. It's because I have found something that works GREAT and really has helped me regrow a lot of the hair that I lost already. It took me a while to find that product, and so I ended up making a lot of mistakes along the way.
At one point, I decided to use Scalp Med, which is the topic of this article.
You have probably seen at least one infomercial for Scalp Med before. If you are like me, you probably picked up the phone to call the number and place an order for it after seeing it a couple of times, because according to the before and after pictures they were showing, as well as the testimonials of real customers, it really does some amazing things. But, the question is, will it do that for you?
After ordering Scalp Med, I started using it religiously for a few months. I was using the topical solution like I was supposed to, and taking the supplement. I even used the scalp cleansing formula and the cortex enlarger that comes with it.
I did notice after a couple of months that I was losing less hair. I did not start to really regrow any hair before the third month. I really didn't think the scalp cleanser or the cortex enlarger made any difference at all, but that could just be my own feeling. Anyway, by the third month, I actually ran out of money and was unable to continue to buy the product. When it comes down to having food or having hair, I chose to have food.
Before I was completely out of solution, I did notice that I was begining to regrow some hair. Most of it was growing in at the crown of my head, but some was also coming in at the front and middle of my scalp. So, Scalp Med was actually working! Scalp Med has the same topical solution as Rogaine, which contains an ingredient called minoxidil. Minoxidil is FDA approved to regrow hair. The oral portion of it contains a number of nutrient, among which are Azelaic Acid, Vitamin B6, and Zinc. Those nutrients, when combined, can really do a lot to block DHT in the scalp, and therefore stop hair loss and help hair to grow back. At that point, I knew I had to find some place to get the same formula bit for cheaper.
Not too long after that, I happened across some discussion boards where people were talking about their own experiences with a product called Provillus. I could not find anything negative said about it and it was A LOT cheaper than Scalp Med, so I decided to take a leap and see if it really works. After all, it had Minoxidil in the topical solution, and also has a very similar nutrient mix as Scalp Med does in the oral portion of the treatment. It doesn't come with the cortex enlarger, but I didn't like that stuff anyway.
Because Provillus had a 90 day guarantee, I knew that I could try it and see if it would work the same or better as Scalp Med, in which case I would be a happy man. So, to make a long story short, I ordered the 6 month supply, which is the most economical way to buy it. You actually pay for 4 months at $49 a month, but then you get 2 months for free. Overall, it's about $30 a month that way.
Since I first ordered Provillus that first time, I have ordered 2 more 6-month supplies and I am about to order another one. I have pretty much stopped my hair loss, and my hair is growing in a lot thicker all around. I had to stick with it for about 6 months before I started noticing major differences, but I could tell small differences after just about 2 months.
So anyway, the choice is up to you. But, I would definitely choose Provillus over Scalp Med any day. If you do decide to go for Provillus, then you really should get the 6 month supply. It's the cheapest per month, and you should really give it a 6 month shot anyway so you can start to see the most results. Either way, it's about 1/3 as much as Scalp Med, and it works just as well, if not better.
Here is the website for Provillus so you can check it out: www.Provillus.com
If you really are curious about Scalp Med too, then you can check it out at www.ScalpMed.com.

P.S. I would love to post other people’s feedback and experiences with respect to Provillus and any other hair-loss products that you might find out there that work. If you ask a question, I will post your comment for other people to respond to.
| 2/11/09 | Jason B. I was glad to find this review when I did. I was about to buy Scalp Med! I really was close. I am gonna order Provilus right away and let you know what happens. |
| 3/1/09 | AaronNoHair I agree with Jason. I'm glad I didn't buy Scalp Med. I am still trying to decide if Procerin is a legitimate hair loss product. I know the ingredients are similar, and I don't want to have to try Provillus AND Procerin to see which one works. Any advice? |
| 3/10/09 | Nick AaronNoHair (cool name) I tried Procerin before and stopped when I lost my job and had to pay my rent. I decided not to start up again with it though, because I didn't notice any difference. In stead, I started Provillus and have noticed a pretty big difference in the amount of hair I am losing. I've only been using it for about 3 months, but it's already working better than Procerin did for me. I hope that helps.

| 4/30/09 | Anna H. Does anyone know what products there are out there for women with hair-loss problems? I am open to any advice, because I really don't know anything about the subject. |
| 4/30/09 | Josh, Anna, Provillus actually has a formula that works for women as well. I don't personally know anyone who has used it, but I do think that if it works as well as the formula for men has worked for me, I would give it a shot. www.Provillus.com

| 5/8/09 | Devon R. Maybe I am just a sceptic, but how do I know this is not just a scam? I have tried a ton of things, and nothing but Scalp Med has worked for me. I just feel like you get what you pay for if you buy the cheap stuff. Please correct me if I am wrong. |
| 5/8/09 | Josh Devon, it is very possible that you used a lot of products that didn't work, and I do know that Scalp Med works for most people. But, their ingredient list is nearly identical to that of Provillus. Plus, Provillus has a really good refund policy. I would go with Provillus an just try it first. You'll know in a few months if it is working. If it doesn't work for you, then I doubt Scalp Med will either. But, I really bet it will. |
| 6/1/09 | Andrew B. Josh, I agree with you. I did a ton of research and found out that Provillus is really the only product that works as well as Scalp Med but costs so much less. Devon, I hope it works for you! Good luck. |
